Astun Technology, the UK’s premier open source geospatial solutions provider is now recruiting a new Account Manager (Epsom-based, remote or hybrid). The successful applicant will work exclusively with Astun’s public sector clients.

The role, which involves some UK travel, offers many benefits in addition to a salary of up to £50k.

Mike Saunt, Managing Director, comments, “This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced GIS practitioner to help shape how GIS is used across local government. The successful candidate will help us build long-lasting relationships with clients and ensure that their needs are anticipated and met.”

David Renn, ex-local authority GIS specialist, joined Astun in 2022 as a GIS Consultant before moving into the Sales Team. “Understanding the business of local government, the tasks that need to be completed, and the technology that can enable this is key. The GIS community is fantastically innovative, and generous in sharing best practice. Astun has a tremendous record in delivering solutions to the ever changing spatial challenges facing the public sector. Our Account Managers are able to help clients deliver applications and intelligence demanded by their users.

“Attending regular client meetings, exhibitions and events, such as Astun’s user group, provide unparalleled opportunities to build long-lasting relationships and share examples of best practice with zero ‘hard sell’.”
