The AGI is pleased to announce another “point release” of GEMINI 2.3, incorporating guidance changes requested during implementation of a GEMINI 2.3 editor for the Scottish Government.
Thanks to Jo Cook of AGI corporate members Astun Technology for making many of those suggestions.
You can find the changes documented in the GEMINI change log at http://agi.org.uk/gemini. To summarise, we have:
- Added guidance for two additional elements: Metadata standard name, and Metadata standard version
- Limitations on public access: improve guidance by listing the allowable INSPIRE reasons, with a hyperlink to the register
- Hierarchy level name: changed guidance and example to match INSPIRE. Note: this means the value is fixed depending on the value chosen for Resource type (Hierarchy level).
- Keyword for INSPIRE theme: fixed the URL in the encoding example
- Conformity to an INSPIRE specification: minor fix to guidance, and added a new ‘known error’
