AGI Cymru’s Annual Conference, GeoCymru is back again on Thursday 9 October 2025, and we are looking for speakers!
The conference theme “Geospatial Solutions for the Built Environment” will be exploring how geospatial technology and delivery supports our built environment.
Save the date and join us to explore how geospatial technologies are transforming the way we design, build, and manage the built environment, whether its planning, transport, infrastructure or energy. From smarter planning and resilient infrastructure to real-time data for sustainable development, discover how location data is driving better decisions and shaping communities. 2025 marks ten years of the Future Generations Act, we would be interested in reflections on how this has driven change in the approach to the built environment.
We are looking for presenters, whether you are a policy maker, data user or geospatial specialist, to contribute to the exciting agenda. The day will be a mix of presentations, lightening presentations, an early career slot, networking and debate, followed by the opportunity for some informal geo-chat afterwards.
Whether you are involved in advanced analytics, innovation in collaboration and community engagement, EO, AI or building capacity across the built environment sector we would love to hear from you.
Apply with a short proposal (max 250 words), indicating whether you wish to be considered for a full presentation (10 – 15 mins) or a lightning talk (5 minutes total).
If you wish to be considered in our early career professional slot, please include how long you have been working in the geospatial industry.
Deadline: Monday 26 May at 5pm.
