AGI Early Careers Network

Supporting the journey of early career professionals within the geospatial community

AGI Early Careers Network

The Early Careers Network (ECN) is a network of early career professionals, ran by early career professionals.

The ECN are recognised by the UK’s Geospatial Strategy as a network supporting early career professionals and those moving into the geospatial community from other sectors. The ECN facilitates collaboration and communication between a wide range of geospatial sectors, aiming to connect early career professionals.

Our team of volunteer’s plan and organise events, such as networking events, talks to universities and schools, webinars, and panel discussions. We keep you updated on the latest developments through our blog posts and social media channels, where you will find information about upcoming events, relevant opportunities, and reports.

Who can join? and how do I join?

All early career professionals working in the geospatial industry (less than 10 years work experience), students interested in pursuing a career in geospatial, and those new to the geospatial sector, are welcome to join as a FREE network member.

Follow us to stay up to date with events, industry news and more.

Tell us how the ECN can support you!

If you would like to share your expertise and inspire the next generation of geospatial professionals through providing presentations, talks, career insights, and more we would love to hear from you. We also welcome early career professionals with ideas for the ECN and how we can better support you. Email us at ecn@agi.org.uk.
